He will be delivering a presentation entitled ‘That’s not a landscape Picture!’ In his talk he will encourage members to think more creatively about what ‘counts’ as a landscape photograph and advise people to break old habits, challenge assumptions and to explore broader artistic possibilities. He will also be highlighting how advice from professionals can unintentionally limit personal exploration. Drawing from workshops, competitions, and personal experience he will demonstrate how creativity often sits outside conventional expectations using a series of light hearted stories illustrating how photographers can get stuck in familiar patterns. The evening promises to be not only entertaining but also a valuable insight into the photographic mind and creativity. Huw’s website can be found at: https://www.huwalban.com
